In order to safeguard Italian silk like products (so produced using silk or continuous threads) and their internationally recognised tradition of quality and creativity, the mark is granted exclusively to those companies with head offices and production premises in Italy, whose fabrics and accessories have undergone at least two qualifying processes in Italy. 

Social responsibility

Companies producing fabrics with the Seri.co mark apply correct codes of social behaviour regarding workers’ rights within their own premises and promote the same with their suppliers.

Ethical code

Seri.co team firms undertake to refrain from incorrect ethical behaviour such as copying fabrics and designs from others, exploiting patented processes, forging original brands and applying labels containing information that may be incorrect or misleading for the user.

Environmental protection code

Seri.co team firms operates according to an environmentally correct code of practice by applying controls to all forms of environmental impact: water, air and earth.

Quality code

To guarantee that all Seri.co labelled products meet the necessary quality requirements, the company must take suitable procedures and control its own organisation and the various phases of the production cycle. This will ensure that processes are always carried out in controlled conditions and therefore the resulting products are of equally controlled quality.
